On occasion....when we get are arms pulled behind our back and are forced to say "uncle"...we will do a marble countertop. The reason being is marble, although extremely beautiful, is a very brittle countertop. Also marble will wear over time and loose its original shine.

However in the end this marble vanity top does go nicely with the porcelain undermount sink.
