On the contrary Quartz Countertops are the easiest surfaces to care for. They are heat and scratch resistant and don't require resealing like granite. Daily cleaning can be done with traditional household cleaners although you should always consult the specific products cleaning guidelines.  It is important to note that we are talking about polished quartz surfaces and not honed surfaces. The honed look offered by some quartz manufacturers is a nice look but does have more strict maintenance requirements.
