It would be impossible for most homeowners to drill in their own stone countertops so clips should be provided that are epoxyed to the countertop. With Solid surface countertops it would be fairly simple to do yourself.

We installed this job for a customer and wanted to post it to show the polished look of granite when it is installed in your kitchen. The surface will actually be reflective. If you do not want this type of finish the best option would be Corian which comes in a matte finish.
