We are templating the full height backsplash for this job. It is important that this be done after the countertop is installed. This will require two installation visits which will extend the final completition time, however, it will be a much better fit.

Just installed this Basil Hi Macs Kitchen Countertop. Basil is part of the Volcanics Collection. The customer also had a coved backsplash on this job. With coved backsplashes you want to make sure you have a straight wall.  

It is always a nice look to have the countertop backsplash go all the way up to the bathroom mirror. The standard 3" or 4" backsplash may not reach, so it is always good to make sure the templater knows this is the look you are going for.
